Street-legal 250W or private-property 500W?
Choose 250W if public-road use matters
The active 250W Captain and Boom models are supplied in a 250W / 25km/h assisted configuration. EWHIP publishes Australian approval documentation referencing EN15194:2017+A1:2023 for these models.

Do The Captain and The Boom have the same riding position?
No. The Captain uses a step-through cruiser frame with easier access and an upright posture. The Boom uses a café-racer format with a different stance and visual character.
Do all models have the same legal status?
No. EWHIP separates 250W street-legal models from 500W private-property/off-road models. Always check the individual product page and current local rules.
What warranty is included?
The published limited warranty states two years for the frame and rigid fork, and one year for electrical and non-electrical components. Exclusions and customer responsibilities apply, and Australian Consumer Law rights remain.
