Find Your EWHIP
If you are comparing EWHIP with two or three other Australian brands, answer two questions: where will you ride, and which riding position feels right.
First: where will you ride?
Public roads, cycleways and everyday trips
Start with the 250W street-legal range: The Captain or The Boom. Both use a 250W / 25km/h assisted configuration with published EWHIP approval documentation referencing EN15194.
Road rules vary by state and location. Check current local requirements.
Choose your riding positionFarms, private property and permitted private terrain
Start with a 500W off-road model. Choose between The Captain 500W step-through cruiser and The Boom 500W café racer.
These models are not for public roads, footpaths or shared paths.
Then: choose your riding position
The Captain: easy step-through comfort
Choose The Captain if easy mounting, an upright posture and relaxed everyday comfort matter most. The low-step frame suits frequent stops and riders who do not want to swing a leg over a higher café-racer frame.
Active street-legal model: $3,290, 250W Bafang rear hub, up to 80km claimed range, removable Samsung-cell battery and hydraulic disc brakes.
Choose The CaptainThe Boom: café-racer presence
Choose The Boom if you want bold café-racer styling, a lower planted feel and a stronger visual statement. It uses the same practical fat-tyre format but with a different frame and riding character.
Street-legal Olive model: $3,290, 250W Bafang rear hub, up to 80km claimed range, removable Samsung battery and hydraulic disc brakes.
